The Diabolical Machines - Live at Lola's, 3-6-2013

Fresh from our friend Melissa Claire Photography comes this batch of photos from our concert at Lola’s Saloon last week on the 6th.  We had a ton of fun, and Melissa got some awesome shots of the action!

Huge, huge thanks to Melissa Claire Photography for taking these shots and giving us permission to share them here!  Click on a thumbnail to embiggen:

SURPRISE! Short-Notice Show THIS WEDNESDAY!

LindbyAbandonCityQuickie

This one caught us a little off-guard, but we’re excited!  We just got added to a fun lineup at Lola’s Saloon this Wednesday, March 6th, after another band had to drop out.  Our super friends Lindby, us, and Abandon City are hitting the stage starting at 10:00.  It’s an all-ages show and just $5 ($9 under 21).

We are very generously being joined by Lindby drummer Logan Bowers for this show, for which we are very appreciative.  It’s going to be a fun night, so come on out Wednesday to see us break your hump day blues!

New Music! New Shows!

Hey there, fan land!  It’s been a little while since we talked, but it’s time to get y’all up to speed on the latest happenings in Diabolical Machinesville.  We’ve been working hard on reformulating things with the new lineup, and we’ve got the first fruits of our labor to share:

Artoria Cover

First, the big news – we’ve put out a new song!  It’s called “Artoria,” and you can grab it on our Bandcamp page (name your own price, anywhere from “zero” to “eleventy billion dollars” or anywhere in between) or stream it below:

“Artoria” was written by Steph and features her on guitar and lead vocal, Harley on guitar and backing vocals, and Kevin on electric uke, bass guitar, drum track, and backing vocals.  It was recorded in our ad hoc home studio by Kevin and Harley and the production is by Kevin.

Next, we’ve got some shows coming up to tell y’all about!  We’ve got three shows currently booked for the spring:

Super excited to bring you all new tunes and new shows!  Thanks for being fans!

Moving Forward

Hey y’all,

As we enter into 2013, The Diabolical Machines will be moving forward without our original lead guitarist and new bass player.  The remaining members are reorganizing and recommitting to new material.  Our upcoming shows as they stood have been cancelled and the planned EP has been put on indefinite hiatus.

We’d like to thank everybody for their support thus far.  This is an interruption, but we’re not going anywhere.  We’re going to find our new groove and return to you all with more tunes in the near future.
