“Drag You Away” EP Sessions Complete!
Big-time news! Yesterday, we completed the recording sessions for our debut full-band studio EP, Drag You Away. The four-track EP now goes into the mixing and mastering phase of its creation, with mixing handled by producer/engineer Britt Robisheaux and final mastering by engineer Carl Saff.
We are super excited about the Drag You Away EP, as it’s the first time we’ve gotten the new lineup into a real recording studio and done it up right. We cannot wait for you to hear the EP! In the meantime, Kevin took a collection of photos over the last two days documenting the recording process, and we’ll share them here. Click the thumbnails for a larger view:

As mentioned above, we recorded our song for the FW Weekly CD today at Eagle Audio. Kevin took some photos of the whole thing (on a combination of an iPhone and a big camera), and we’d like to share ‘em with you:
Recording Our Debut Studio EP Next Month!
It’s been a long while in the planning, and it’s had to get over some delay and other issues, but we’re happy to announce that we’re headed to the studio to record our debut EP next month. The EP will be recorded in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, and will be recorded & produced with vintage equipment by Britt Robisheaux of The Theater Fire/Drug Mountain/Most Efficient Women fame.
We’re really excited to finally be getting this done, and can’t wait for everybody to hear the results. We’re still working on finalized art and a title, so in the meantime please enjoy the design above, which will be used on some new stickers and buttons coming out in the not-too-distant future.
Playing at The Grotto TOMORROW NIGHT!
We’ve got a show tomorrow night (Saturday the 13th)! We’re playing at The Grotto with our pals Lindby and the awesome Missing Sibling. The fun starts at 10:00 PM with Lindby, then us, then Missing Sibling. It’s just $5, so you’d better be there if you like great indie rock! It’s going to be a blast, and there’s some surprises that’ll be happening! So be there! EXCLAMATION MARKS!
Great Time at Capps Park Yesterday
The first Cowtown Cleanup Fest was a lot of fun! We had a great time performing and getting to see fellow bands Tim Platt & All That Is Beautiful and Big City Folk. Keep Fort Worth Funky posted the video above, which contains bits of all of our performances.
